Bereaved Carers Report
Healthwatch Leeds worked with Leeds Palliative Care Network to find out about people’s experiences of end of life care for their relative/friend in a hospital, community (including GP surgeries, Leeds Community Healthcare and private care agencies and care homes) and hospice settings.
Digitising Leeds
The lockdown imposed from March 2020 brought with it some radical changes to how people are able to access health and care services. Face to face meetings with healthcare staff were dramatically reduced and it meant that some of the digital changes that service providers were hoping to introduce slowly were forced to be activated quickly to be able to continue to deliver services.
HIV Dentistry Report
Healthwatch Leeds produced a report in 2015 (Access to dental care for people living with HIV in Leeds). A factsheet was produced by Public Health England that is now used nationally and training modules have been introduced for dental students in the region.
