I am new to NHS audiology
If you have never used NHS audiology services before, ask your GP for an NHS audiology referral.
Your GP will arrange a referral so you can:
- Have a hearing test.
- Be assessed for hearing aids.
- Access NHS hearing-related support.
Extra support from BID Services
Leeds also works with BID Services, a Leeds-based charity that supports people who are:
- Deaf or hard of hearing.
- Visually impaired or deafblind.
BID Services may be able to help with:
- Basic hearing aid repairs.
- Tips and domes.
- Practical advice and support for you and your carers.
What if I can't travel to a clinic?
