Last year was a year like nobody could have imagined, the pandemic brought with it many challenges. We had to change the way we worked and adapt quickly to make sure that those with the greatest health inequalities weren’t being left further behind.

With care homes gradually opening up following many visiting restrictions during the Covid 19 pandemic, we asked relatives and residents to tell us about their experiences of visiting, what was working well and what they felt could be done take make visits more meaningful.
