Information & advice service

Healthwatch Leeds provides an information service to help people understand and access health and care services in the Leeds area. We also capture people’s experiences in order to help to improve local services. Our trained staff can help you to:

  • Find out about health and care services near to you
  • How to access the support and advice you need
  • What to do if you have a concern or complaint
  • Share feedback with us about services. This helps us see the bigger picture so that we can better influence changes in services.

The information service is open on weekdays from 9am to 4pm.
If there is no answer, please leave a message or email us and we aim to get back to you within two working days. The number is: 0113 8980035 or email: info@healthwatchleeds.co.uk

    How we handle your information

We provide a confidential service and you do not have to tell the helpline worker anything you don’t want to, including giving your name or location. We record the details of all enquiries on our secure database but keep any personal information separate from the general themes of what you are telling us.

We do share the information from the general themes with Healthwatch England and the people who provide and buy services in the city, but this never includes information that would identify you.

The only time we may break confidentiality is if we believed a child or vulnerable adult were at risk of harm. We would explain during the call if we felt that this was the case, and what action we were going to take.
