Annual Report 2023 to 2024
"We believe strongly in the importance of proactively reaching out to listen to people and communities. By hearing directly from people at risk of experiencing unequal access to services, partners (those in power) can take informed action."
Jane Mischenko and Jonathan Phillips, Co-Chairs of Healthwatch Leeds.

Highlights
1,646 people shared their experiences of Leeds health and social care services with us, helping us to raise awareness of issues and improve care.
We produced 66 reports, briefings and videos about the improvements people would like to see in health and care services.
This year marks a special milestone for Healthwatch. YouthWatch, our group of young volunteers, reached its 10-year anniversary. Over the past 10 years, we have empowered children and young people to share their experiences, good or bad, to help improve health and care services. A big thank you to everyone who has shared their voices so far, our amazing YouthWatch volunteers and health and care organisations that have listened to your voice and made changes as a result of our recommendations.
